Being a radio broadcaster has been my dream from childhood and I thank CJNU for giving me the opportunity. I have been in and around music all my life, playing drums in local bands including a stint at Paterson's Ranch House, local pubs and weddings. I went to work for Garry Robertson Music in the late '70s and I am still playing weddings and special events under the banner Jukebox Memories.

After spending time in the Royal Canadian Navy on the East coast, I returned to Winnipeg and got into the printing industry in which I still work full-time. Printing is the work part of my week, the fun part is being involved with CJNU and my music business.

I have been married to Denise for over 25 years. We have three children and two grandchildren.
