CJNU is on the air at 107.9 FM and MTS TV Channel 725, plus of course in streaming Internet audio. Our announcers will be on the air until this Sunday, July 25. We'll then present a day of continuous music on Monday, July 26. Our sponsor for July is Travel Manitoba.
We'll be off the air on Tuesday, July 27, before starting a six-day broadcast with non-stop music and feature programs from Wednesday, July 28 to Monday, August 2. We'll be off the air on Tuesday, August 3 - returning to the air on Wednesday, August 4 with more continuous music and feature programs until Monday, August 9, when our announcers will return to the studio starting at 7:00 a.m. Our August broadcast will be presented by the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba with our studio located for the month in their offices at 247 Provencher Boulevard. The live portion of our August broadcast will continue until Sunday, August 29 followed by a day of continuous music on Monday, August 30.
We'll be off the air on Tuesday, August 31 - returning to the air to start our September broadcast for Scouts Canada on Wednesday, September 1. The broadcast will continue until Monday, September 27.
Other broadcast dates for the remainder of 2010 are off the air on Tuesday, September 28 - then on the air from Wednesday, September 29 to Monday, October 25 for host sponsor Siloam Mission - Wednesday, October 27 to Monday, November 1 - Wednesday, November 3 to Monday, November 29 for the Riverview Health Centre - Wednesday, December 1 to Monday, December 27 for Booth College - and be there to keep you musically entertained for New Year's with a special broadcast running from Wednesday, December 29 to Monday, January 3, 2011.
You may have noticed from the dates above that each broadcast runs from a Wednesday to a Monday. Our off air day will always be on Tuesday, and it will always be just one day at a time - usually just one day each month. That's the broadcast schedule we're planning to follow until we hopefully receive the full-time broadcast license for which Nostalgia Broadcasting Cooperative has applied.
