Nostalgia Music and Features

CJNU is a non-profit community service radio cooperative that programs the music and feature programs you like to hear - at 107.9-FM, Channel 725 on MTS-TV and on the Internet in steaming audio. We're run by volunteers and don't have an advertising budget to spread the word about our station. That's why there are many people who don't know about CJNU Nostalgia Radio - or don't know when and where we can heard.

You can help change that. You could send an email to some of your friends letting them know about us and our current and future broadcast dates. It doesn't matter if they live in Winnipeg or elsewhere since streaming audio makes it possible for people anywhere in the world to tune in. We've made it easy for you by pre-writing the basics about where and when we can be heard, all you need to do is insert the email address of your friend, but you can modify it or add to the message if you wish. Another way you can help is by downloading a promotional poster that provides information on CJNU and our current broadcast dates. It's in PDF format designed to easily print on a standard 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper. We suggest you make one or more prints of it, then post in the building where you live, on the bulletin board at any club or community centre you visit, or wherever you think people who would enjoy CJNU might see it. By helping us attract more listeners, you'll be helping to ensure that we can keep the music and variety programming you love coming over the airwaves in Winnipeg - and available around the world over the Internet.

We've provided the poster in three formats for your convenience. One version prints one poster on a regular letter size sheet of paper - the second version prints two posters on each letter size page. Cut the page in half and you have two posters, each about 8.5x5.5 inches - which may be preferred if the bulletin board where you want to place it has limited space. If you've got really limited space where you can post it, try the four posters on one 8.5x11 inch page version.
