I have been a big fan of Nostalgia radio ever since it first aired. Shortly after graduating from high school I pursued a career in broadcasting. Unfortunately, it did not happen.

As I also love to drive, I spent the last 30 some odd years in the bus industry. When I heard about volunteer opportunities, I jumped at the chance. I still work in the bus industry, as a Transportation Manager for Beaver Bus Lines.

As well, I am currently on the Board of Directors for the Manitoba Transit Heritage Association. We restore and display buses from the '30s right up to the '80s. I also have my name in a history book (Dusty Trails To Divided Highways) devoted to the bus industry in Manitoba.

Happily married to Wendy for 36 years, I enjoy the variety of music played on CJNU, and being a part of the broadcasting team. Maybe I will take a shot at the mike some day, but for now operating is reward enough.
