My first job in radio was at CFRY in Portage la Prairie. I started there in 1964 and left in 1966. I left CFRY for CFAM in Altona and worked for Elmer Hildebrand at CFAM/CHSM from 1966 to 1969.

I left full-time radio in 1969 to attend Red River Community College and graduated in 1971 with a diploma in Electronic Technology. While attending Red River I continued to work weekends and summers at CFAM and also did some work here in Winnipeg for CFAM whenever that was required. After graduating from RRCC I worked for the University of Winnipeg, Transport Canada and finally Nav Canada until my retirement in 2003.

I was recruited by Bryan Jensen for CKVN and worked there and also worked at CHNR until its end. I was also active with the short-lived CJML.
