CJNU Nostalgia Broadcasting Cooperative is made possible by our members who pay a yearly membership fee, and in some cases do volunteer work for the station, and by our sponsors and hosts. Each month, one or more major hosts sponsor that month's broadcast. The following list shows those organizations that have sponsored a month's broadcast during the past year.

Our host sponsor for February was Variety, the Children's Charity of Manitoba. Over the years Variety, the Children's Charity, has raised more than $22 million in Manitoba to meet the special needs of children of all abilities. Their efforts enable children to participate more fully in life's activities. One of Variety's projects in Manitoba is Camp Brereton in Whiteshell Provincial Park with a capacity of 70 campers.

CJNU's host sponsor for January's broadcast was Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba, your link to quality end-of-life and bereavement care. Among the many programs offered by is the new Sunflower Day Support Club, a community-based pilot project for people with life limiting conditions, such as cancer, heart conditions, emphysema, liver disease, stroke, etc. and their caregivers.

CJNU's December broadcast was brought to you by the Rotary Club of Winnipeg West. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto 'Service Above Self'. Worldwide, there are 33,790 Rotary Clubs with a total of 1,234,527 members.

November's broadcast was presented by Riverview Health Centre, the hospital that feels like home. Riverview, located on the banks of the Red River near the heart of Winnipeg, provides innovative and compassionate care in a 388-bed facility that caters to those with rehabilitation and long term care needs.

CJNU's October broadcast was presented by Victoria Lifeline, one of Canada's leading personal response services since May of 1988. A not-for-profit community service, it is currently helping almost 5,000 Lifeline clients in Winnipeg and across Manitoba to lead active, independent lives.

CJNU's September 2009 broadcast was sponsored by Scouts Canada, Manitoba Council. The Scouts is Canada's leading youth organization and is dedicated to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.

CJNU's August 2009 broadcast was co-sponsored by 'SAM', the Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba, which has provided services and programs to stroke survivors and their family members in Manitoba for 36 years. - and by the Freemasons of Manitoba, committed to improving good men through fellowship, leadership and education.

CJNU's June 2009 programming was brought to you by the Manitoba Theatre for Young People, theatre for unhurried children. MTYP has been creating and presenting professional theatre productions for children and families since 1982. Located at The Forks in Winnipeg, MTYP’s home is a 28,000 square foot performance facility featuring a fully re-configurable theatre, classroom studios, and production and wardrobe shops.

CJNU's broadcast hosts during May were the Manitoba Division of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, a leader in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and enabling people affected by MS to enhance their quality of life - and Canadian Goodwill Industries, whose objectives are to provide vocational services, rehabilitation services, and employment for persons with physical, developmental, emotional or social disabilities.
