Spread The Word
CJNU is a not-for-profit community service radio cooperative that programs the music and feature programs you like to hear – at 93.7 FM, Channel 725 on MTS-TV and on the Internet in steaming audio. The station is run mostly by volunteers and we don’t have an advertising budget to spread the word about our station. That’s why there are still many people who don’t know about the great nostalgia music they’re missing. There are a number of ways you can help us let more people know about 93.7 Nosalgia Radio.
Nostalgia Radio president Ross Thompson and announcer Wayne Bruce (the only two males in the photo) talked about CJNU Nostalgia Radio with this group in the Fort Richmond suburb of Winnipeg.
If your organization needs a guest speaker for an upcoming meeting or event, CJNU would be pleased to provide such a person. “The Little Station That Could” will send one of our volunteer staff to tell the story of CJNU, our history, and our unique approach to radio programming – and how people at your event can get directly involved in helping operate CJNU. You or someone else at the meeting might even win a prize! To make arrangements to have a CJNU representative at your meeting or event, all you have to do is call CJNU at 204-942-2568 or email [email protected] and we’ll work out the details with you.
We now have lapel pins (right) available for purchase. They’re $3 each or 2 for $5. Perhaps you also want to consider buying a CJNU crew neck T-shirt. They’re available in navy and maroon in a variety of sizes. They’re priced at $10 each for sizes small to XL, $12.50 for XXLarge and XXXLarge. No tax is added to these prices, but there is a shipping charge unless you pick-up your purchase. Both T-shirts and pins can be obtained by calling 204-942-CJNU(2568) or emailing [email protected]. If you order by email, please include your phone number in the email so that the cost of shipping can be authorized by you and the payment arrangement finalized.
Print out our poster
Yet another way you can help is by downloading a promotional poster that lets people know about CJNU – and reminds people that we have moved to a new spot on the FM dial, 93.7 FM. The poster is in PDF format, and there are three size options. One version prints one poster on a regular letter size sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch paper. The other versions of the poster prints two posters on one letter size piece of paper, while the third version prints four posters on each sheet of regular letter size paper to provide smaller posters for use in places where space is limited. All three versions are available for download at the bottom of this page.
Thanks for letting more people know about CJNU Nostalgia Radio.
